stripykat newsletter

Well another busy, fun packed month for me and stripykat. stripykat is turning one on the 14th July. How exciting, now able to walk, talk and eat solid foods it has come a long way since last year.
Well if you thought I had been abducted by the little green men and taken away for experiments you’d be correct, they discovered some new and wonderful things from me which they have taken back to their planet. So I'm back, which I am sure you are all pleased about!?
With the Craft Fair in Morningside just around the corner on the 25th April, I am busy making lots of stock to sell. It’s in the Columcille Centre, which is at 2 Newbattle Terrace just along from the Dominion Cinema. So I hope you can pop along to say hi!

Well I hope no one has walked under a ladder, stepped on the cracks of the pavement or indeed spilt salt. Do you have the fear of Friday the 13th, “paraskavedekatriaphobia”, (try saying that quickly) or are you living it up with a big red nose on your snozel for Comic relief? Have any of you caught the Dancing for Comic Relief? It’s hilarious and I have to share this special moment with you. When I watched it I remembered I have the Dirty Dancing keep fit DVD, which I might have to put on one of these days again.

Well hopefully no one reading this is snowed in, living on soup and dried bits of bread found in the cupboards!! I hope you are all wrapped up, wearing your slippers and have a nice mug of tea beside you...or is that just me?

Hello and a warm welcome to the spangly new style of stripykat newsletter. I was reading over a few of my previous ramblings from the last few months and the one thing I thought missing were photos. I always love looking at people’s photos. Yes, I would probably ask you to get your holiday snaps out to show me. I am not nosey, purely inquisitive, so from now on I will pop a few pictures in for your viewing pleasure.

A very Happy New Year to you all! I hope 2009 is a good one for you and that all your wishes for the coming year come true.

We had a great Christmas; I got amongst my gifts a book on growing your own vegetables. I had a try at some parsnips last year which turned out to be exceedingly small yet very tasty. So this year I am planning on cutting more of our back lawn away to make into vegetable patch. All we will need is a sheep and a few hens and we will be just like the The Good Life

Hello everyone,

Well this is the last newsletter before Christmas, so I hope you have been organised and shopped for all your presents. If like me you haven't, please do not despair there is still time and there are even more shops that you can find stripykat in, which is obviously the perfect gift.

Newsflash, Newsflash, the stripykat FREE POSTAGE campaign begins tomorrow for a whole week!! YIPPEE, I hear you cry! So if you are thinking of treating yourself or getting that special person their birthday or Christmas presents, have a browse and see what scrumptious goodies are there for you. It is a great time to buy as there is the added bonus of saving money too!
October has been another fun-packed busy month, with lots of exciting things to tell you about. First of all, there are two new sections on the site - yes, TWO! Stripykat now has handmade mp3-player cases that can also be used for your phone or camera to keep them safe and protected.

Guess what?
