Hello lovely people.  Where have you been I hear you wimper…..?

Tim and I have been on holiday to the gorgeous Lake District.  I have been there so many times as a lot of my family are there, but I’ve never really appreciated the beauty of the place.  It's when you have time to stop and look, you realise the fantastic scenery.  We stayed in a very small village and took the opportunity to walk and drink in the atmosphere, literally.

I was very lucky and went to the Clydesdale horse stables for a ride with Tim.  I would highly recommend these guys if you are ever in the area.  They are so enthusiastic and really care for each horse and that shines through.  When you are on a horse that's 18 hands tall it's a long way off the ground but they really made you feel safe.

Tim even went for a trot, being only his second time on a horse he did very well, especially when his horse was a little too enthusiastic and started to canter.  We ended walking like Clint Eastwood for the rest of the week, but it was worth it.

Rach was also over from the US of A with Sophie and Rory and they even brought another bundle of fabrics with them.  Yes I have been shopping again – well Ido it very well I have you know.  I got some great fabric from a Japanese designer so will be putting them to very good use.

So with the excitement of the Summer holidays over it’s back rejuvenated andready for any challenges that come our way.

stripykat is getting updated as we speak with more fab new products going to be appearing on the site in the coming weeks.

We’ve also be working our little socks off in the back office here and aresetting up a brand spanking shiny new web site.  I am really excited about itand it will be going live in October so will keep you posted on that!
