Well another busy, fun packed month for me and stripykat. stripykat is turning one on the 14th July. How exciting, now able to walk, talk and eat solid foods it has come a long way since last year.

I want to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone for supporting me and more importantly giving my creations good homes. It’s so good to know they have gone on to be cared for by someone else with impeccable taste!! From California to Melbourne and London to Shetland. Big thank yous!

So with a mile stone like that you have to celebrate somehow so I am going to have a little glass of bubbly or make that two.

But alas there’s no rest for the wicked! With just over a month to go until the huge, world famous, amazing, fantastic, bonanza that is the West End Fair in Edinburgh. You can click here for lots of information of who’s who and what’s what.
stripykat is going to be there for one week only from the 17th until the 23rd August. Right in the middle of it all. I will be on the Boardwalk so pop along and see me!

So the good old Bernina has been literally smoking and creating lots of bags and accessories for the fair. I have got some great handmade bags if I don’t say so myself.

So apart from that I haven’t had much time to do anything else this month. Tim and I did however use our Christmas token for the Trike Tour round Edinburgh. A must for anyone and you don’t even have to be a greasy biker type either.
I lost count of how many cameras got pointed at us including a very excited group of Japanese tourists. So we will no doubt be appearing in some weird and wonderful holiday albums. It was brilliant fun and not for the shy and retiring!! We got to see the amazing architecture Edinburgh has to offer that you just don’t see when driving. (much to the passengers relief!)

Well that’s my break up so back to making more bags for the show.
