I absolutely love this bag, the Frills and Spills handmade shoulder bag is cute as can be.

Made from 100% Shetland wool that has been woven in a herringbone design, and lined in some lovely purpley, pink cotton. There are lots of layers of strong interlining, which will help keep the bag's shape and keep it strong.

I have made a frill in the tweed fabric along the front and sewn on a retro button with some chiffon ribbon to finish it off. Not wanting to spoil the look of the front I made the flap to go over to the back of the bag, making it more secure for you too. There is a magnetic fastener there so it's easy to open and close.

I have top stitched this bag in purple and cream thread to bring some of the colours out of the tweed fabric which is a lovely mix of greens, reds, oranges, browns = yummy!

The bag has a handy internal pocket to keep your purse, keys or lippy in and the shoulder strap is made in the tweed and the purple lining. I have finished it off with a little piece of ribbon on each side of the strap to tie it all together.
