Look at what you could have won! Welcome to the part of the site that I have devoted to a few of the missed opportunities - the archive of the handmade accessories I have already sold.
The selection here is to give you an idea of my work. As each item is designed and handmade by me, I don't have a stock pile of products, so this is just a taster of what has been on offer.
If you see some fabric or a style of bag you love that is not currently featured in the katalog then please contact me to see if I can help you out. As you know stripykat only makes one of anything so I am unable to remake a product to the exact specifications of an old one, but if there are elements of a particular item you just love, then I will be more than happy to make something for you.
  | The Mirage case is great to keep your iPod, Blackberry, phone or camera snug as a bug. I found the fabric designed by Michael Miller in a lovely fabric shop in France. The case has an invisible magnetic catch, which makes it really easy to open and close. There are lots of layers of interlining to make sure your technology comes to no harm. It is lined in bright turquoise cotton. |
    | The Herringbone shoulder bag is made from some gorgeous soft grey and cream herringbone fabric and soft green cotton designed by Patricia Bravo, The shoulder bag is lined in green cotton and has a handy internal pocket ideal for your keys, purse and lippy. The strap is in the strong herringbone fabric and lined in the soft cotton and there is a magnetic catch on the assymmetric flap. There are also two handsewn retro buttons on the front of the bag. |
  | The Flutter case is made from some fabric covered in lots of different birds on a brown back ground. The case is great for your Blackberry, iPod, camera or phone. With lots of layers of soft interlining you can be rest assured your technology will be kept safe and scratch free. There is a handy invisible magnetic catch, making it easy to open and close quickly. So no excuse for not catching that all important call from your agent!     | The Patch handbag is a great shoulder bag to put all your essentials in for a day out shopping or a day at work, which is much less fun! The front of the bag is very subdued with some ultra gorgeous fabric from France with specs of silver and gold woven through it. It is a great upholstery weight fabric making it strong and sturdy for the bag. On the back of the bag, the shoulder strap and the inside of the flap I have used some fun fabric which is a Japanese import by designed Echino. Patches of squares in different colours and patterns make this a great fabric to team with any outfit. The bag has lots of layers of soft interlining to make sure it keeps it shape and remains strong. It's lined in blue cotton and has a handy internal pocket for your lippy, purse and keys. To finish it off I have sewn on a big blue button on the front using pink and blue thread. Each stripykat handmade bag is truly unique. Designed and made by Katie Brown in Edinburgh.
